Cleveland Cascades have recently been successful in winning an order to replace their existing system at the L’Hoist site in County Durham, UK. Formerly known as Steetley Dolomite, L’Hoist were keen to replace their existing system with another Cleveland Cascades system to ensure the same optimum performance in reducing dust emissions.

The chute is to load Dolomite into trucks at rates of up to 600 tonnes per hour, which is then transported around the country for various uses including some processes in steel manufacture.

The chute has an extended length of 6 metres, retracting to around 2.3 metres to ensure adequate clearance for the trucks moving out of the loading bay.

The expected delivery and install date for the replacement chute is December 2015.
